Are you a Cloud Engineer or System Administrator ready to make an impact on large-scale cloud infrastructure projects? We're a top-tier managed cloud provider delivering scalable infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and a VMware-NetApp-based private cloud. We're seeking a Cloud Engineer who’s passionate about delivering custom cloud solutions and maintaining highly available, modern environments. In this dynamic and hands-on role, you’ll work on enterprise-level projects using the latest cloud technologies — with continuous opportunities to expand your skills and expertise. Our team of around 70 professionals is driven by a shared mission: to build reliable cloud platforms that empower organizations to lead digitally. Our infrastructure supports clients ranging from major corporations like VW, E.ON, and GLS Bank to well-known publishers and agile, mid-sized enterprises.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with a skilled team of cloud engineers and systems admins to design and maintain robust IT environments.
  • Build and operate infrastructure on both our private cloud platform and Microsoft Azure, using tailored solutions for each client.
  • Embrace DevOps principles — using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines as part of an Infrastructure-as-Code approach.
  • Manage complex, business-critical infrastructures and participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 reliability.
  • Get hands-on experience with the cloud platforms used by some of Germany’s largest and most innovative companies — in a fast-moving tech environment where your voice is heard.
  • Continuously improve your cloud skillset, with development opportunities in Kubernetes, Azure, and beyond.
  • Work using agile methods including sprints, dailies, retrospectives, and Kanban boards.
  • Thrive in a culture of knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and learning. We work on-site three days per week, with two days remote.

Perks and Benefits

Yes, we have free fruit and coffee — but that’s just the beginning:

  • Choose your own OS: Windows, macOS, or Linux
  • Permanent full-time contract
  • Personal mentoring and structured onboarding
  • Access to customized training and certifications
  • Modern, ergonomic workstation setup
  • Family-friendly perks, including a parent-child office
  • Corporate benefits platform
  • Health & wellness support
  • In-house personal trainer
  • Chill zone with games: table football, pinball, and more

What You Bring

  • Experience in a similar role as a Cloud Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
  • Excitement for cloud technologies and eagerness to grow in areas like Kubernetes and public cloud platforms.
  • Background in deploying and managing virtualized infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with automation and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Git, Jenkins, Ansible).
  • A methodical and structured approach to resolving incidents and technical challenges.
  • Proficiency in German (minimum B1 level).
  • Certifications or experience in Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes are a big plus!

Tools and Technologies You Might Use

  • IaC and Automation: Terraform, Ansible, Git, Jenkins
  • Monitoring: Grafana
  • Security: SIEM, SOAR

How We Work

  • Agile methodologies are standard
  • Scrum
  • OKRs
  • Cross-functional collaboration

Not sure you check all the boxes? That’s okay. If this role sparks your interest, reach out anyway — even if you’re still growing into some areas. We’d love to talk, answer your questions, and see if we’re a fit for each other.

And if your interests lean more toward architecture and strategy, we also have an open role for a Cloud Architect — let’s explore what works best for you!
