Cybersecurity Researcher

• Conduct research and technological development of security solutions, particularly for aviation and ground systems

• Develop, analyze, and test tools and equipment for detecting and mitigating cyberattacks over communications links and networks

• Communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders

• Support the transfer of technologies into market-ready products

Requirements

• University degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline

• A PhD is desirable

• Interest in cybersecurity and its application to aircraft and ground systems

• Ability to organize and prioritize your own work and apply research methods

• Experience with and knowledge of vehicle communications and networks

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English are required

• Willingness to identify compliance risks and act with integrity
