We are looking for a Data Engineering & AI Lead who combines technical depth with strategic thinking, pragmatism and a hands-on mindset.

In this key role, you will help shape our enterprise data and AI landscape, driving both our Microsoft-based data platform and our AI initiatives forward.

• Own and develop our enterprise data platform based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
• Advance our data architecture, models, pipelines and integrations
• Lead our Power BI, Business Intelligence and management reporting capabilities
• Lead a small internal reporting team and manage specialist external partners
• Shape our Data & AI strategy and roadmap
• Drive the evolution of Medtech “brain”, our enterprise AI platform
• Identify and implement high-value AI use cases
• Take solutions from idea and prototype through to production, adoption and measurable business impact

What you bring

• Strong experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics or AI
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and SQL
• Practical understanding of modern AI technologies, including large language models, generative AI, RAG, semantic search and AI agents
• The ability to move confidently between strategy, architecture and hands-on technical delivery
• Experience leading technical teams and working with key stakeholders
• Ideally, experience working with regulatory requirements, particularly in medical devices, healthcare, manufacturing or life sciences
