Develop a bare-metal Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) for the RISC-V SoC Use the HAL for testing and proof-of-concept applications Port and maintain OpenSBI firmware Port and maintain real-time operating systems and operating systems, including Linux and Zephyr Port and maintain the bootloader Develop a Board Support Package (BSP) using OpenEmbedded/Yocto Port applications for testing and benchmarking, including SPEC CPU Collaborate with computer architects, hardware engineers, and software engineers on challenging engineering problems
Requirements
- Solid C skills
- Interest in embedded / bare-metal and (RT)OS development
- Understanding of CPU and memory systems
- RISC-V knowledge is a plus
- Exposure to bootloaders or RTOS (e.g. Zephyr, FreeRTOS) is welcome
- Hardware debugging experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) is desired
- First relevant experience, such as internships or projects, is desired
- Relocation required
