Services: Deliver weekly teaching sessions (180 min/session) during the semesterSupervise project work or student presentations (if included in the module)Evaluate student performance and submit grades in line with university deadlinesParticipate in brief coordination meetings with academic staff (as needed) Requirements: A Master's or Ph.D (or nearing completion) in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related fieldKnowledge of Virtual Machines and Ubuntu/Linux, Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environmentsStrong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, Understanding of distributed systems and data processing (Hadoop and Apache Spark)Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud computing, Familiarity with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQueryUnderstanding of cloud-based data pipelines, storage, networking, and IAM, Experience deploying or managing data workloads in a cloud environmentTeaching experience at university level, preferably in EnglishAvailability during the lecture period ((e.g., mid-October to mid-February)).Able to commute to Heidelberg, as the lectures will take place on campus
