Fullstack Entwickler Java / React (m/w/d) — Hamburg — 60% remote — up to €95,000

A German statutory health insurer is hiring a Java full-stack developer into the team that builds the framework behind its online services. Twelve months, ANÜ, starting no later than 1 December 2026.

The organisation runs 22 agile, interdisciplinary teams across its digital estate. This team builds and provides the framework other teams use for business-driven web processes and applications, which means the work genuinely spans both halves of the stack rather than one half with some of the other.

The package

  • Up to €95,000 gross per annum, all-in
  • 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
  • Approximately 60% remote, around two days a week on site in Hamburg
  • German at B2 or above

What you will do

  • Design and develop modern enterprise front-end and back-end applications
  • Build Java microservices with Spring Boot, and web interfaces in React and TypeScript
  • Develop maintainable solutions for business-driven processes and applications
  • Work with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Argo CD and Docker in an enterprise environment
  • Apply Helm, GitOps and GitHub Actions to support reliable delivery and deployment
  • Contribute across development and operations rather than sitting in a narrowly separated role
  • Work directly with business departments, IT specialists and UI/UX experts
  • Take part in refinement, planning, dailies, reviews and retrospectives

What you need

  • Five years or more on container platforms — Kubernetes, OpenShift, Argo CD and Docker in enterprise environments
  • Five years or more building enterprise microservices, including Spring Boot
  • Five years or more of DevOps — Helm, GitOps and GitHub Actions on complex enterprise projects
  • Three years or more of React and TypeScript in enterprise front-end development, including react-hook-form
  • Experience with a content management system such as CoreMedia is an advantage
  • Confident collaboration with business, IT and UI/UX stakeholders
  • German at B2 or above, and the right to work in Germany
