IT Administrator - BW Area - Up to (d / m / w)

Responsibilities

• Analyze system and monitoring data to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions aimed at improving network performance and reliability
• Manage and maintain security-related network configurations, including firewalls, VPN access, user permissions, and the application of security updates
• Support the deployment of new networking technologies and infrastructure components, contributing to rollouts, migrations, and broader IT projects
• Oversee the administration and operation of network and communication environments, covering LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall systems
• Monitor network performance and availability, independently diagnosing and resolving technical incidents to ensure stable operations
• Produce and update technical documentation, such as network topologies, configuration records, and operational guidelines

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• 3+ years as an IT administrator
• Experience in network and communication infrastructures, including knowledge of VPN, routing, firewalls, LAN/WAN/WLAN, etc.
• IT security, such as system hardening, firewalling, network access, etc.
• Fluency in German & English is mandatory
