IT system administrator / IT all-rounder (m/f/d)

Eastern Baden-Württemberg (East Württemberg region) | Employment type: Full-time, permanent position (2 positions)

On behalf of our client – a rapidly expanding, nationwide group of companies in the medical services sector – we are seeking two dedicated IT professionals to rebuild their internal IT infrastructure on-site. Previously externally managed locations will now be brought in-house. As part of the new regional IT team, you will be responsible for independently building the local IT landscape and working closely with the central IT management.

• Insourcing & Setup: Taking over and redesigning the IT infrastructure (network, servers, clients, firewall) from previous external service providers, including the development of processes and documentation.
• Administration: Managing the Windows server environment (Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP) as well as network and site connections (VLAN, VPN).
• Support & Specialized Systems: Providing 1st and 2nd level support for the regional locations and training on industry-specific software and interfaces.
• IT security: Implementation of basic cybersecurity measures (endpoint protection, backup concepts, access management).
• Qualification: Completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist in system integration) or a comparable qualification – motivated career starters are welcome.
• Technical expertise: Solid knowledge of Windows infrastructures and basic networking know-how (TCP/IP, switching/routing, VPN). Prior experience with firewalls, virtualization, or backup solutions is advantageous.
• Working style: High level of initiative, enjoyment of genuine development work and curiosity about medical applications.

Requirements:

• Very good German language skills and a Class B driving licence for occasional journeys between regional locations.
