Lead Software Engineer

ph3bLead Software Engineer, AI-Assisted Development /b /h3 h3bPlanned start: November 2026 | Initial six-month project with extension option /b /h3 pWe are looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to guide application delivery using AI coding agents.

Working directly with business stakeholders, you will turn emerging requirements into reliable software and support the development of other engineers. /p pYour responsibilities include: /p ul liLead technical delivery from initial problem definition through implementation, deployment and operational readiness. /li liEstablish review and testing standards for AI-generated code. /li liBreak complex business needs into manageable deliverables and make practical architecture decisions. /li liMentor engineers and turn successful delivery approaches into reusable patterns. /li /ul pYou bring: /p ul liAt least eight years of software engineering experience, including current production use of AI coding agents. /li liStrong Java skills and experience with containerised applications and on-premises Kubernetes. /li liExperience working closely with business stakeholders and owning delivery

through to production. /li liStrong code review, testing and mentoring skills. Quarkus and Angular experience would be advantageous. /li liFluent German. /li /ul pThe assignment requires work from Switzerland, including at least two days onsite per week. /p /p
