Linux System Administrator

• Install and configure Linux operating systems (Ubuntu/Debian)

• Monitor and maintain systems

• Ensure system availability and performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

• Operate, maintain, and further develop the Proxmox cluster

• Document and plan network infrastructure in NetBox

• Support customers with issues that arise

• Assist with troubleshooting

• Design solutions and advise existing customers on new orders and system expansions

• Operate and maintain customer systems in public cloud, company-owned, and customer environments

Requirements

• Experience administering Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian)

• Knowledge of network configuration and maintenance (IPv4, IPv6/L2, L3)

• Experience with monitoring systems such as Checkmk and Icinga

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Good written and spoken German and English

• Hands-on experience with Proxmox (virtualization and cluster operations)

• Experience with NetBox or comparable tools for network documentation and planning

• Nice to have: Experience with automation tools such as Ansible

• Nice to have: Experience configuring routers and firewalls (VyOS, OPNsense)
