Manager Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Quality Management for Radio Frequency products (f/m/div)

Overview

In this role you ensure functional safety and cybersecurity compliance for RF automotive semiconductors, guiding development teams across the product lifecycle. You work with international, cross-functional teams to strengthen Infineon’s position as a quality leader in automotive and robotics markets. You identify root causes, drive improvements, and implement forward-thinking safety and security solutions. This role offers a chance to shape safety concepts, audits, and process conformance within a global, technology-driven environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Ensure functional safety/cybersecurity compliance according to ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and ISO 21434 for products across the lifecycle
• Tailor development processes and support teams in applying confirmation measures
• Advise and guide development teams in creating, reviewing and improving safety and security concepts and analyses
• Guide projects toward conformity with safety/security requirements; review plans and deliverables and approve final compliance status
• Create and maintain Quality Assurance Plan; execute confirmation reviews and other confirmation measures
• Act as auditor or assessor in product audits and assessments for components developed per safety/cybersecurity standards
• Collaborate with international project teams including Development, Quality Management, Project Management and other stakeholders

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable degree
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in functional safety per ISO 26262 and/or IEC 61508
• Experience in automotive and/or robotics product development & maintenance with a semiconductor hardware background
• Systematic approach to analyzing product safety and managing technical risks
• Strong moderation and communication skills; cross-functional teamwork in audits, assessments, reviews
• Ideally knowledge in ISO 21434-compliant product development, ASPICE and/or quality management methods
