Full descriptionRoleWe are looking for a backend software engineer to own the creation, design, and maintenance of our backend platform. The role will require the candidate to guide the system's technical architecture to the success of the business. You will work in an environment that is fast paced, has little technical debt, and utilizes the latest technologies. ResponsibilitiesDrive the overall architecture of the company's backend systems; including services, data jobs, AI systems, search indices, workflows, etc. Manage the company’s infrastructure (currently in AWS) through Pulumi.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, test suites, and other processes that ensure high engineering velocity while minimizing costDeliver key features in coordination with the other engineers at the companyCoordinate with stakeholders to conceptualize project timelines and evolving strategyQualifications5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on backend systemsKnowledge of common software architectures web, mobile, and SaaS applicationsMastery of technical design, including data/object modeling and interface/API designExpert in data processing, workflow management, queuing systems, infrastructure management, monitoring systems, search, authentication, etc. Experience integrating AI workflows into production applications. Passionate adoption of agentic tools for software development.
