As an Middleware and Application Software Developer for small automotive embedded devices in our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life.

This position is a two-year fixed-term contract Your role Key responsibilities in your new role • Drive system understanding for our software offering in Motor Controland LED applications • Use AI to integrate and develop middleware libraries and application software • Develop software prototypes • Assure the code quality by AI-driven testing in the targeted system • Be responsible for the reusability in a platform development enviroment • Work with the team to decide which development processes to maintain or change • Collaborate closely with System Architects and Product Application Engineers Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar studies • At least 5 years experience in Software engineering • Profound knowledge in: agentic AI usage, C and Python • Certified scrum master is an advantage • Knowledge in hardware close/baremetal developing and testing • Preferable experience in RTOS, Zephyr, Ethernet Stack, CryptoLib and TrustZone • You know build systems, repositories and ticket systems • You know automotive development environments and chip peripherals • Experience in global organizations and ability to network in crossfunctional teams • Good communications skills in English, German would be a benefit #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
