Senior SAP IS-Oil Consultant – Secondary Distribution Management Location: Hamburg, Germany – Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week) Contract: Freelance / Contract Duration: 9 Months Start: ASAP Language: English / German preferred We are looking for a Senior SAP IS-Oil Consultant with strong experience in Secondary Distribution Management (SDM) to join a long-term project within the Oil Gas / Energy sector. The role will focus on the supply, logistics and distribution of fuels, supporting end-to-end processes from fuel supply through to delivery to customers and service stations.
Key Responsibilities Provide functional expertise across SAP IS-Oil, with a strong focus on Secondary Distribution Management Support end-to-end fuel supply and distribution processes Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions Configure and optimise relevant IS-Oil functionality Support processes covering fuel ordering, scheduling, transportation, delivery and invoicing Work with business stakeholders across supply, logistics and distribution Participate in workshops, testing, deployment and issue resolution Identify opportunities to improve fuel distribution and supply processes Work closely with technical teams on integrations, enhancements and developments Requirements Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-Oil Proven experience with Secondary Distribution Management (SDM) Strong understanding of fuel supply, distribution and delivery processes Experience
within the Oil Gas / downstream fuels industry Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable Experience with TSW / scheduling / transportation processes is an advantage Strong functional consulting and stakeholder management skills Fluent English; German is highly desirable Willingness to work 2–3 days per week onsite in Hamburg 9-month contract with extensions | Hamburg | 2–3 days onsite per week
