SAP S/4HANA Business Expert EMEA HUB (f/m/x)

Opportunity

ZEISS aims to standardize different ERP systems during the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA, focusing on efficiency, effectivity, speed, flexibility and compliance.

Your Role

You will manage business requirements and design process adaptations in a regional/segment context, and guide junior hub business experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage business requirements, business roles and data design within the global template SAP S/4HANA system through fit-gap analyses.
• Drive adaptation of end-to-end business processes towards FIT4 harmonization goals, collaborating with entity business experts on preparatory work such as data cleansing.
• Guide and steer junior hub business experts in requirements analysis, business process modelling, data cleansing, etc.
• Generate process maps and process models to illustrate adapted business processes.
• Design and own test cases and conduct functional end-to-end tests in the SAP S/4HANA system.
• Contribute actively to assigned roll‑in projects in a region, across SBUs or segments when required by the regional hub lead.
• Assist in the creation of training materials and support end‑user training.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in Production, Logistics Management or Purchasing within the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent knowledge of end-to-end business processes for at least one domain (e.g., Inbound to Outbound, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce).
• Proven methodological know‑how of local fit-gap analyses and process design.
• Relevant industry knowledge.
• Strong decision‑making acumen and ability to reach consensus or compromise on process designs among stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and ideally SAP S/4HANA, plus relevant third‑party business systems.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical and communication skills.
• Exceptional English communication skills (both spoken and written); familiarity with German or other languages is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel.
