SAP S/4HANA Test, Migration & Cutover Manager (m/f/d) – Frankfurt (Hybrid)

Do you want to shape an S/4HANA programme from the very start? Our client, a well-known manufacturing company, has just started its S/4HANA transformation and is in the Prepare phase. They’re looking for an experienced Test, Migration & Cutover Manager to set up deployment and readiness from the ground up and take it through to go-live.

• Location: Frankfurt am Main, hybrid. Initially about one day a week on site, with occasional travel to other German sites.
• Duration: Long-term, from the early phase through go-live and hypercare
• Contract: Project-based employment via MAM Gruppe (ANÜ), including social insurance and paid holiday
• Language: Fluent German required

What you’ll do

• Design the programme-wide test strategy from scratch: test phases, entry and exit criteria, risk-based testing and defect management
• Support the selection and rollout of a test management tool, integrated with Jira and Confluence
• Set up and steer data migration on the functional side, including mock loads, trial runs and data quality checks
• Develop the cutover strategy and plan, run dress rehearsals, and prepare go/no-go decisions
• Lead the production cutover and the handover to hypercare
• Report progress and risks to programme leadership and the steering committees

What you bring

• Several years of test, migration and cutover management on complex SAP programmes, ideally S/4HANA
• A track record of leading production cutovers and parallel test cycles
• Strong knowledge of test methods (SAP Activate; PMI or PRINCE2 is a plus)
• Confidence with Jira and Confluence
• Assertiveness with business teams, sub-projects and vendors, including under pressure
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience is a plus
