Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead and govern large-scale SAP Carve-Out, Divestiture, and Business Separation programs across Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex SAP landscape separations involving multiple SAP and non-SAP applications, diverse legal entities, regional compliance requirements, and TSA-driven transition environments.
The Solution Architect will own the end-to-end separation strategy, solution design, and delivery governance across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Concur, Integration platforms, and related technologies. The role requires balancing business continuity, regulatory compliance, technical risk, and aggressive separation timelines while coordinating multiple workstreams and stakeholders across European countries.
Key Responsibilities
Carve-Out Strategy & Architecture Leadership
- Lead the architecture and execution of complex SAP carve-out and separation programs involving multiple ERP, SaaS, analytics, integration, and infrastructure applications across Europe.
- Define and govern separation strategies including Physical Separation, Logical Separation, Selective Data Transition, Lift-and-Shift, and Rebuild/Reconfigure approaches.
- Establish the target-state architecture and transition roadmap aligned with divestiture objectives, business operating models, and TSA commitments.
- Drive architecture decisions across multiple application landscapes while ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance.
Multi-Application Landscape Management
- Assess dependencies and interconnections across SAP and non-SAP systems, interfaces, reporting platforms, middleware, identity management, and infrastructure services.
- Lead solution design workshops with business, IT, security, and program leadership teams to define application-specific separation approaches.
- Manage architectural risks and integration impacts arising from concurrent application and infrastructure carve-out activities.
- Ensure alignment across ERP, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, Security, Data, and Integration workstreams.
- Architect selective data migration and company-code carve-out solutions utilizing SAP DMLT, SNP, Natuvion, or equivalent technologies.
- Define data ownership, retention, archiving, reconciliation, and data privacy strategies in accordance with European regulatory requirements.
- Lead design and execution of mock conversions, dress rehearsals, cutover planning, and production separation activities.
Security, Compliance & TSA Governance
- Establish segregation controls, identity management strategies, authorization frameworks, and data access models to prevent cross-entity data exposure.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and country-specific regulatory requirements across the separation landscape.
- Define TSA operating models, shared-service exit strategies, exception management, and transition governance.
- Provide architectural oversight for security, GRC, audit, and compliance reviews throughout the program lifecycle.
Delivery Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary architecture advisor to executive sponsors, program leadership, and client stakeholders.
- Lead architecture governance boards, design authority reviews, and solution decision forums.
- Coordinate distributed teams across Europe, offshore delivery centers, and third-party vendors.
- Mentor solution architects and technical leads while driving consistency across all carve-out workstreams.
