Responsibilities
• Design, refactor, and evolve core discovery platform components
• Drive architectural improvements that reduce technical debt and improve scalability and stability
• Own platform initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through delivery
• Partner closely with Product to translate business goals into technical roadmap items
• Mentor and support other engineers through technical leadership and clear communication
Requirements
• Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• System design experience building scalable applications
• Practical experience with Linux and Docker
• Track record of refactoring and maintaining existing production systems
• Self-directed working style with strong written and verbal communication in English
Nice to have
• Experience with distributed systems or large-scale data processing
• CI/CD pipeline and deployment experience
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
• Networking or network engineering background
