You'll be a key driver of our culture, helping to ensure that our values are embedded in everything we do.Your Impact:Develop insights using a wide range of data sources, including IIoT sensor data and other railway domain datasetsDesign and implement solutions - from understanding customer challenges to releasing models to productionDeploy well-tested, maintainable solutions into live systemsDevelop tools and infrastructure for sensor data analysis that integrate smoothly into our end-to-end software engineering lifecycleCollaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to translate business needs into technical impact\Drive innovation and help you and your colleagues improve and growTo be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, having built and tested statistical or ML modelsFluency in Python and ideally experience with an additional programming languagePast experience working with dataframe-centric data manipulation tools such as pandas, PySpark, Polars and SQLPast experience owning complex data science problems independently, having developed models for production systems, beyond pure academic or research settingsFamiliarity with version control (Git) and common software engineering best-practicesA proactive, impact-driven attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentIt’s a plus (but not a requirement) if you have:Experience applying digital signal processing (DSP) techniques to extract features and insights, for example from sensor or time-series dataUnderstanding of model monitoring techniques, software testing, and CI/CD workflowsWorked with and trained models using diverse types of data (e.g. time-series, tabular, event logs, images, sensor data etc.)Experience with state-space and survival modeling, and familiarity with statistical packages such as statsmodels, PyMC, or StanExperience with AWS and DatabricksWhy Join Us:ð Competitive salary (85.000 - 100.000 EUR p.a. depending on seniority/exoerience)ð Equity (all permanent KONUX employees have equity!)ð Dedicated Learning & Development budget of 3.600 p.a.ð Comprehensive relocation support if this opportunity at KONUX requires you to moveð ð» Hybrid working model: Meet your colleagues in the office minimum 2 days per weekð Modern workspace with a cool rooftop with a mountain viewð» Flexible working conditions, home office equipment and free choice between a Windows or Apple laptop️ ð¹ Health benefits supporting your physical and mental well-being, e.g wellpass/gym membership and mental health app licenseðFruits, snacks and beverages for energy and our very own Oma cooking in the office every Thursdayð Company pension schemeð Access to Corporate Benefits and Future Bensð 27 vacation days (+1 day on every work anniversary for 3 years)ð Volunteering activities (2 additional days off)ð» Company and team events ð¶ We are a pet-friendly company, so your four-legged friend can join you in the office!
