What you’ll do • Own and operate EKS clusters on AWS, including building new clusters from templates • Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform • Build and run CI/CD with Argo CD and related workflow tooling • Design observability across metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and incident response using Datadog • Improve developer experience across build, deploy, and operational workflows • Participate in on-call and drive learning through post-incident reviews • Contribute to platform direction with a product mindset How the platform looks • AWS-first with EKS at the core • Terraform for all infrastructure changes • GitOps-style delivery with Argo CD • Strong emphasis on monitoring design and failure modes • Documentation and tickets are part of day-to-day work About you • You operate at senior level in DevOps or platform engineering • You have owned Kubernetes infrastructure in production • You are comfortable debugging real incidents and explaining systems clearly • You think in systems, trade-offs, and failure modes • You work well with autonomy and minimal process • You are comfortable in regulated environments Nice to have • Datadog or OpenTelemetry experience • Security or compliance awareness • Experience in smaller teams with real platform ownership • Exposure to AI or developer tooling platforms Benefits of the role • Ownership of critical production infrastructure • Direct impact on reliability, developer velocity, and platform design • High trust environment with senior peers • Hybrid working with regular in-person collaboration • On-call compensation and competitive base salary • Variable compensation planned If you want ownership of real infrastructure and decisions that matter in production, this is worth a conversation.
