They're growing the core product team and looking for a senior full-stack engineer to take ownership of features end to end, from shaping the approach with the Product Owner through to production.
What you'll be doing
• Building and evolving customer-facing web applications on a mature Java Spring codebase with Angular on the front end
• Working in a cross-functional team alongside Product, UX and Design --- not taking tickets off a backlog, but helping decide what gets built
• Driving architectural decisions and pushing the platform toward a cleaner, more modular structure
• Setting the technical bar through code review, testing and mentoring less experienced developers
What you'll need
• 5+ years of professional Java development (Spring / Spring Boot, REST, JPA, SQL)
• 3+ years building production applications in Angular
• Commercial experience within financial services or insurance --- you understand why compliance, auditability and data integrity aren't negotiable
• Fluent German (C1 or better) and solid English
• Based in or within commuting distance of Frankfurt am Main
Also useful
• Experience migrating monolithic systems toward microservices
• Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
