We are looking for a Senior Python Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development and solid hands-on experience with Angular (latest versions preferred but not a must-have) to join a project focused on AI-driven automation in the insurance domain, specifically building a system for submission processing and document automation.
Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices • Architect systems to reduce risks related to availability, latency, and efficiency • Work with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) and optimize their performance • Apply GPT, OCR / Document Intelligence, Azure AI Services, and Vector stores to real-world automation use cases • Apply Prompt Engineering techniques to build solutions for automation of insurance processes • Contribute to architectural discussions with a focus on scalability and maintainability • Manage CI/CD pipelines and application deployment using Azure DevOps and Docker / Container Apps • Support production deployments and environment configuration • Apply SRE best practices, define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets • Implement observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and tracing • Automate operational processes to reduce manual effort and mitigate performance and availability risks Requirements • 5+ years of Python development experience, with commercial experience in Angular • Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask) • Experience with REST APIs and API documentation tools such as Swagger • Experience designing and maintaining production-grade systems • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Prompt Engineering (GPT, OCR / Document Intelligence, Azure AI Services, Vector stores) • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools • Understanding of SLIs/SLOs and reliability principles, along with system performance, scalability, and availability • Experience working in Agile environments • English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher Nice to have • Experience with high-load systems • Knowledge of asynchronous programming • Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) • Understanding of DevOps practice • Background in the insurance domain
