Your Tasks • You will further develop the performance-critical core components of a software product in C++, including key functionality for page composition, rendering, and print output • You will further develop the new web frontend of a complex layout and content application, implementing a user interface whose functionality and interaction logic are comparable to professional desktop publishing applications • You will be responsible for the UX, UI, and visual quality of the application for professional users in the media industry • You will be responsible for the backend development of the web product and integrate the frontend with the C++/Qt backend via modern HTTP and WebSocket interfaces • You will drive the modernization of the architecture, including running the frontend and backend as Docker containers • You will coordinate new features closely with the management team and jointly plan development activities for the core products • As a Senior Developer, you will act as a point of contact for your colleagues and continuously improve code quality • You will actively contribute new development trends and your own ideas while working closely with the DevOps team Further details apart from the job description as well as information about the company are available during the application process.

Your Benefits • You can benefit from home-office options of up to 2 days per week • You will receive 30 days of annual leave • You will work with flexible working hours and within a flat organizational structure • You can choose your own work equipment, whether PC or Mac • You will benefit from an occupational pension scheme • You get additional vacation days for special occasions • You are welcome to bring your dog to the office Your Profile • You have a completed degree in Computer Science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience • You have several years of professional experience in C++ software development, ideally with C++11 or later, as well as knowledge of Qt 6 • You have several years of experience in frontend development with Angular and TypeScript • You have experience in performance-critical and low-level software development and are familiar with programming on Windows and Linux • You are experienced in integrating backends via HTTP and WebSocket interfaces • You have a strong focus on UX, UI, and the visual implementation of user interfaces • Ideally, you have experience with complex web interfaces and a background in print, layout, or graphics software • Ideally, you have knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, as well as Docker • You are willing to take ownership, independently drive topics forward, and play a leading role within the team • You see yourself as a team player, communicate openly, and enjoy working on an equal footing with your colleagues • You have good English skills; good German skills are an advantage
