We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of scalable, high-quality software solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong Java development expertise with practical experience using modern AI-assisted coding tools, working within Agile teams to deliver robust, business-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot
• Design and implement REST APIs following established design principles
• Build scalable microservices-based solutions
• Work with relational (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases to support application requirements
• Utilize modern software development tools, including git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
• Leverage Claude Code or similar agentic AI coding tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and code explanation
• Provide clear project context to AI tools and iterate through multi-turn interactions to achieve usable output
• Review and validate AI-generated code, identifying hallucinations and ensuring alignment with requirements and existing patterns
• Understand business context and user needs to inform technical decisions
• Follow clean code principles and best practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate within a team environment, incorporate feedback constructively, and communicate effectively
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies within a Scrum/Kanban team
Requirements
• 2–4 years of professional Java development experience
• Proficiency in the Spring framework (Core, MVC, Boot)
• Understanding of microservices architecture fundamentals
• Familiarity with messaging/event streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hubs
• Skills in implementing Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum/Kanban team
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous learning
• Nice to have Familiarity with Azure cloud or other cloud providers
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
