Senior Manager - SAP TM

Most SAP TM specialists in Germany end up as the logistics expert attached to someone else’s programme. This role is the reverse. You’d own TM as a capability.

My client is a global SAP consultancy running large S/4HANA transformations for manufacturing and life sciences companies. Their transportation practice is growing, and they want a Senior Manager to lead TM delivery and shape how the offering develops in DACH.

The work

• Lead SAP TM workstreams on S/4HANA programmes, embedded and standalone
• Own solution design across freight order management, planning, tendering, carrier integration and freight settlement
• Lead international delivery teams, including nearshore and offshore
• Act as the senior TM contact for client logistics and supply chain leadership
• Shape proposals, pre-sales and account growth with the partner group

What they’re looking for

• Several full-cycle SAP TM implementations, ideally including S/4HANA TM
• Hands-on design depth, not only programme oversight
• Understanding of how TM links to EWM, SD and MM in practice
• Experience leading teams and handling senior client relationships
• Fluent German and English
• Manufacturing, chemicals or life sciences background is a plus

The practical detail

• Base: Germany, hybrid
• Travel: Hybrid, mostly within DACH
• Salary: €115k - 140k base plus bonus, car or allowance
• Clear route to Director for someone who grows the TM practice
