Senior Network Engineer

Our client is an established organisation with a complex and evolving IT infrastructure, supporting a range of business-critical systems and services.

You'll join a technically focused team where hands-on engineering, infrastructure development and long-term improvements are key priorities.

Role Overview

• Responsible for maintaining, developing and expanding an established enterprise network infrastructure
• Hands‑on engineering position covering network architecture, firewall administration, switching and network connectivity
• Requires specific practical experience with Fortinet firewalls and Juniper networking equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Fortinet firewall environments, ensuring network security and connectivity
• Manage and develop Juniper switching infrastructure, including network configuration and ongoing optimisation
• Design, build and expand network environments, including experience with VXLAN and eVPN technologies

Technical Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls and their administration
• Practical experience configuring and maintaining Juniper switches
• Knowledge and practical experience of VXLAN and eVPN technologies
