Senior Software Developer – Tech Lead, Java, Spring, Jakarta EE

• Develop sophisticated Java and web applications across the frontend and backend
• Contribute your expertise to client projects and develop sustainable solutions together with clients
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for modernization
• Develop strategies for the effective evolution of established applications
• Transform existing applications and architectures into modern, future-proof solutions

Requirements

• Several years of experience in full-stack development
• Strong backend focus in Java, ideally complemented by Kotlin or Python
• In-depth knowledge of modern Java development with Spring, particularly Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Solid experience with Jakarta EE and traditional enterprise application landscapes
• Knowledge of application servers such as JBoss or WebSphere
• Understanding of the differences and relationships between traditional and modern Java architectures
• Ideally, experience modernizing applications and systems or supporting migrations to new architectures
• Regular involvement in frontend development
• Ideally, experience with React or Angular, as well as JSF or PrimeFaces
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud services
• Ability to understand complex system landscapes and design and implement new technical solutions
• Strong self-organization, team spirit, and outstanding problem-solving skills
• Ideally, experience in leading projects or parts of projects
• Native-level German
• Confident communication skills in English
