Software Engineer

Founding AI Software Engineer

Munich

A fast-growing Munich tech start-up is hiring an early-stage Software Engineer to help build and ship AI-powered products at pace.

You’ll work closely with the founders, take real ownership from day one, and have a major say in the product, architecture, and engineering culture. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys ambiguity, moves quickly, and wants to see their work in customers’ hands, not stuck in a backlog.

What we’re looking for

• Strong software engineering experience, ideally across product, backend, or full-stack development
• Experience building with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or modern AI application tooling
• Exposure to technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, Azure AI, or AWS Bedrock
• A practical, ownership-led mindset: able to make decisions, solve problems, and ship without lots of process
• Excitement about the reality of early‑stage start‑up life: high autonomy, changing priorities, and plenty of opportunity to make an impact

Why join?

• Genuine influence over what gets built and how it is built
• High autonomy and direct access to the founders
• The chance to shape an AI product and engineering team from an early stage
• Competitive salary and equity potential

If you want a role with pace, responsibility, and the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.
