h3Our Mission /h3pAt Laelaps AI, we believe robotics is entering a transformative decade, much like the arrival of the internet. Advances in AI, cloud computing, and hardware are reshaping what autonomous systems can do. Our mission is to build the intelligent software that powers physical security in the real world - enabling robots and sensors to handle dangerous and critical tasks that humans shouldn't have to. By engineering the orchestration layer for intelligent security, we aim to create a world that is safer, more secure, and more resilient. /ppWe're a strong founding team based in Zurich, backed by visionary investors and advisors. We are engineering the future of security today! /ph3The Role /h3pYou will build the Command Centre, the screen an operator uses to see what our robots and cameras see, decide in seconds, and task the fleet.

Soldiers have already run our console unaided after a short introduction. Next, one operator watches many sites, and tasks robots in plain language instead of drawing routes. That needs an interface built for it. /ppThis role is engineering and design in one.

You will shape the flows, prototype them, test them with operators, and ship them in production code, working with our full-stack engineer on the backend and our vision engineers on what the models show. /ph3What You'll Work On /h3ullipOperator interface: live video, site maps, robot positions and alerts in one view that works at 03:00. /p /lilipAlert triage: the flow from alert to decision: evidence, context, confirm or dismiss, dispatch a robot. /p /lilipTasking by instruction: an interface for telling the fleet what to do in plain language, and seeing how it plans to do it. /p /lilipDesign system: components and patterns that keep the product consistent as it grows. /p /lilipUsability: prototype, test with operators, measure, iterate. /p /lilipPerformance: real-time streams and many sites without the interface slowing down. /p /li /ulh3Who We're Looking For /h3pA frontend engineer

with real UI/UX craft, who has shipped data-heavy, real-time interfaces that people rely on under pressure. /ph3Your Background /h3ullip3+ years of frontend engineering with TypeScript and React. /p /lilipShipped real-time, data-heavy interfaces: maps, video, dashboards or control panels. /p /lilipUI/UX practice: you design flows, prototype in Figma or similar, and run user tests. /p /lilipComfortable with backend APIs and real-time transport (WebSockets, WebRTC). /p /lilipAccessibility and performance as habits, not afterthoughts. /p /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ullipControl room, mission-critical or security interfaces. /p /lilipMapping and geospatial libraries (Mapbox, deck.gl or similar). /p /lilipBuilding a design system from scratch. /p /lilipDefence or regulated customers. /p /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ullipOwnership: you are able to ship products and deliver project end-to-end. /p

/lilipMission: autonomous security that keeps people and critical sites safe, including in defence. /p /lilipCareer path: a ground-floor seat with real runway. Prove your value and you will not have barriers to grow. /p /lilipTeam: work directly with PhD-level co-founders in AI, Robotics, and Physics, alongside a strong (and fun) founding team. /p /lilipCompensation: Competitive equity/salary package /p /lilipCulture: International founding team that is serious about building but does not take itself too seriously. /p /li /ul
