From our headquarters on Zürich's Bahnhofstrasse, we're expanding globally, with a growing presence across Europe and North America. /p pJoin us and help make autonomous operations the new standard. /p h3About the role /h3 pDelta builds BLP’s core software: the technical foundation that everything else at the company runs on. /p h3Who we're looking for /h3 pModelling logic and correctness by construction is paramount to us. We aim to express what must be true, prevent invalid states, and keep systems pristine even as they grow. /p pThus, we’re looking for highly ambitious engineers who can tackle difficult problems and think precisely. You must be able to make assumptions explicit and use formal, structured reasoning to reach a solution, and explain why it is correct. Typically, strong background in mathematics is a key foundation for this kind of work.

We also place a high value on thoroughness and perfectionism. /p pTooling wise, we rely heavily on type systems functional programming. /p h3What you'll do /h3 pOur work spans four areas, you will usually work on a given project within one of: /p ul liInfrastructure: Build and operate the cloud infrastructure BLP depends on, covering security, observability and CI/CD. /li liBackend: Develop a large codebase, tackling performance, concurrency and the challenges of distributed systems. /li liML: Apply the latest AI technology to complex, real-world business problems and turn it into reliable production software. /li liUnbound: Build our product extension platform, enabling BLP to automate arbitrary customer business processes as we scale. /li /ul h3What you'll bring /h3 pWe do not require experience with any particular technology or even industry software development experience. /p pYou

should, however, provide clear evidence of the abilities we’re looking for.
