DevOps Engineer (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

• Own and improve infrastructure across AWS, hosted, and on-prem environments.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve stability, performance, and security issues.
• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure architectures.
• Apply SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, incident management, automation etc.).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Improve observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and act as a technical mentor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and production systems.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containers, and Linux.
• Deep knowledge of SRE principles and operating reliable distributed systems.
• Proven ability to modernize legacy infrastructure pragmatically and safely.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Understanding of cost optimisation and security best practices.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Go preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid or on-premise infrastructure.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
