Role overview
Join the platform team behind a unified, AI-native suite of developer tools, owning services that form the identity, authentication, and authorization backbone for multiple products.
Responsibilities
• Take end-to-end ownership of services, including codebase, architecture, and production operations
• Maintain and evolve services written primarily in Kotlin, with some Go, ensuring reliability and performance at scale
• Design and implement features across identity, organisation, membership, group, and workspace domains
• Review and integrate pull requests contributed by other platform teams
• Manage integrations with related platform components and connected applications
Requirements
• 7+ years of JVM development experience, ideally with Kotlin
• Strong grasp of performance tuning on the JVM and PostgreSQL
• Proven experience building and operating SaaS production services in distributed, multi-tenant environments
• Confidence navigating a modern DevOps stack including Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana
• Demonstrated success taking over and improving existing production services
Nice to have
• Familiarity with identity protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, or SCIM 2.0
• Experience designing and evolving domain models for organisational or identity systems
• Cybersecurity exposure: risk estimation, common vulnerability anti-patterns, and SSDLC best practices
• Hands-on experience with Go
