Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) BMC Location: Soest, Germany

Your Challenge

• Development of software for innovative embedded systems based on embedded Linux
• Projects include power supplies, power shelves and battery shelves for High Performance Computing (HPC)
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary, international teams (hardware, software, mechanical design, testing, etc.)
• Programming mainly in C, C++, Python
• Support for integration of customer requirements

Your Profile

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or similar
• Experience with modern ARM controllers
• Good knowledge in embedded Linux
• Knowledge of the Yocto build system, OpenBMC
• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs (experience with DMTF Redfish and IPMI desirable)
• Knowledge of web interface/GUI development desirable
• Knowledge in communication protocols (D-Bus, SMBus/PMbus, Modbus, CAN-Bus …) desirable
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Independent working style, commitment, creativity and team spirit
• Willingness to travel internationally
