THIS IS USThe Data Science department uses statistical modeling, machine learning and optimization techniques to continuously improve business processes at NEW YORKER. We work in agile project teams on a variety of use cases, including order optimization, pricing, distribution and logistics. We are a very ambitious and international team and are proud of our high standards.
THAT'S THE JOBCombine curiosity, fast understanding of business processes, and strong analytical skills to identify and implement impactful Data Science solutionsLead end-to-end development and operationalization of Machine Learning models within a team of experienced Data Scientists and Data EngineersActively manage stakeholders by translating business requirements into technical specifications and regularly presenting resultsWrite high-quality, maintainable code and mentor junior team members through code reviews and pair-programmingContinuously improve our internal tooling, shared libraries, and development practicesApply industry best practices, including solid testing, documentation, and ensuring full reproducibility of work THAT'S WHAT WE NEEDUniversity degree in a relevant field, e.g. computer science, statistics or physics with 3+ years of experience working as a Data
