Your Mission

You build, optimize, and maintain scalable data infrastructure in Azure Databricks, including ingestion pipelines, unity catalog, and governance frameworks to enable the development of AI and analytics use cases You ensure data quality, governance, compliance (GDPR), and security while promoting best practices within the team and in our broader organization. With your expertise in Python, R and SQL, you contribute to the data warehouse architecture by writing code to clean and check incoming raw data. You also build and maintain the infrastructure in Azure to support general data gathering and storage and automate the transfer of data between resources. Proactively, you explore emerging technologies to expand EOS’s data and AI capabilities.

Your Talents

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or similar

• Several years of professional experience with Azure, Databricks, data engineering, and modern cloud data ecosystems

• Demonstrable expertise in Python and SQL as well as in data governance and cloud-based security

• Knowledgeable in designing and maintaining data infrastructure for analytics and AI

• Understanding of business intelligence tools (Power BI or similar) and of MLOps and AI deployment including ingestion, model training, deployment and monitoring

• Fluent in English; German is a strong asset
