IT Security Consultant (m/f/d)

For our partner company in the IT and social services sector, we are seeking an IT Security Specialist (m/f/d) in Nieder-Weisel for direct placement (permanent position with our client). • Responsibilities include: Operational Management & Analysis: Support, troubleshooting, and administration of central systems and platforms (including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, EDR, and SIEM). Security Triage & Incident Handling: Processing and initial assessment of security alerts, as well as contributing to the analysis and resolution of security incidents.
• SOC Implementation & Concepts: Support in developing IT security concepts and implementing an external SOC (scoping, service provider selection).
• Project collaboration & coordination: Technical support in IT security projects, task management, and communication with internal departments and partners.
• Process optimization: Active contribution of own ideas and suggestions for the continuous improvement of IT security processes.
• Abgeschlossene IT-Ausbildung (z. B. IT-Systemkaufmann, Fachinformatiker), ein IT-bezogenes Studium oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Fundierte praktische Erfahrung in der IT-Systemadministration mit nachweisbaren Berührungspunkten zum Thema IT-Security (z. B. Active Directory/Entra ID, M365, Netzwerksicherheit).
• Erste Praxiserfahrung oder fundierte Grundkenntnisse in der Analyse von Security-Alerts (Incident Response) sowie Interesse an gängigen Security-Tools (EDR, SIEM).
• Hohe Lernbereitschaft und Motivation, Zeit in die eigene fachliche Weiterbildung im Bereich IT-Security zu investieren.
• Kommunikationsstärke, Eigeninitiative sowie eine strukturierte und selbstständige Arbeitsweise.
• Bereitschaft zu regelmäßiger Präsenz am Standort Nieder-Weisel (ergänzt durch flexible Remote-Optionen je nach Anforderung).
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Englischkenntnisse von Vorteil.
