We do not accept unsolicited profiles from recruiters or staffing agencies.
Xneural develops next-generation airspace surveillance systems thatprotect civil and critical infrastructure, based on distributed radar sensorsand cloud-based AI perception. Our mission is to make the lower airspacevisible through Drone Detection as a Service deployed on existingtelecommunications infrastructure.
We are building a highly scalable radar perception platform capable ofdetecting, tracking, and classifying airborne objects in complexreal-world environments.
Role Overview
As our Senior Embedded Linux Engineer, you own the Linux platform on our radar sensor nodes:hardware bring-up on custom PCBs, production firmware, secure OTA updates, and long-termmaintenance. You work with the hardware, radar signal processing, AI, and cloud engineers, and youset the embedded software architecture as the sensor platform scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead embedded Linux bring-up on custom ARM-based hardware platforms
- Develop and maintain Yocto-based Linux distributions and BSPs including bootloaders, kernel configuration, device trees, and peripheral drivers
- Design and implement secure device platforms, including secure boot, firmware signing, androbust OTA update mechanisms with rollback support
- Design debugging, logging, and remote diagnostics infrastructure
- Work with the team to design reproducible build environments and CI/CD pipelines for embeddedsoftware development
- Define embedded software architecture and provide technical leadership, driving best practicesand mentoring engineers as the team grows
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on embedded Linux development experience (a degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is welcome, though equivalentpractical experience counts just as much)
