Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineer at Wert Group, a Boston management consultancy with a remote technology team in Germany. Remote from anywhere in Germany, full-time. Every new client project gets its own cloud environment, and you build and run them.

That means accounts, networks, storage and access rights for the consultants on each project, written as Terraform modules and kept tidy afterwards: unused resources removed, security updates applied, findings from reviews fixed. Infrastructure tickets from consultants and engineers come to you.

You work with our DevOps and data engineers. A degree, Python or PowerShell, or an AWS or Azure certification would help.

You need:

• Two or more years with AWS or Azure
• Cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, DNS, VPNs
• Identity and access management
• Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep
• 30 days of paid holiday
• a laptop and home office equipment plus a monthly home office allowance
• a yearly training budget with exam fees paid
• a company pension (bAV)
• flexible hours
