IT Support Specialist

What This Job Is

Our consultants work from home and at client sites. When a laptop, an account or the VPN stops working, they contact IT support, and we are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take those chats, calls and remote sessions. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in Germany. You will work with our systems administrator, who will also be your first point of contact during onboarding.

Your Work

• Answer support tickets, chats and calls from employees;
• Fix problems with laptops, Microsoft 365, Teams and VPN;
• Reset passwords and set up multi-factor authentication;
• Prepare and ship laptops to new employees;
• Install and update software through our device management tool;
• Write short how-to guides for common problems.

Skills and Experience

• 1 or more years in IT support or a help desk, internships and apprenticeships included
• Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
• Experience with a ticket system such as Jira Service Management or Zendesk
• Vocational training in IT or a related degree (bonus)
• macOS support (bonus)
• Intune or Entra ID (bonus)
• CompTIA A+ or a similar certification (bonus)
