For the location at Lake Constance, we are looking for an
Embedded Software Engineering (m/f/d) to support the development of next-generation onboard software for satellite applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop a demonstrator for a distributed data handling architecture designed for satellite control applications.
• Support the design, implementation, and testing of embedded software components.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate new functionalities into an existing software framework.
• Participate in verification and validation activities.
• Document development work and present progress to the project team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and solutions.

Voraussetzungen

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
• Knowledge of microcontroller-based systems and embedded programming concepts.
• Experience in the aviation or space sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Python programming skills are considered an advantage.
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
