Описание: Sparkassen Rating und Risikosysteme is the central service provider for risk management solutions within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. It provides standardized solutions for risk measurement and management, regulatory bank management, sales, and data analytics.

Задачи:

• Design, implement, and operate robust data pipelines and platforms that provide high-quality data to sales and specialist departments

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures for reporting, analytics, and machine learning applications

• Model data according to data warehouse standards and ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability across the entire data flow

• Work closely with Data Scientists, analysts, specialist departments, and IT to capture requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

• Monitor and optimize the performance, stability, and costs of data platforms

• Ensure a high degree of automation, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code

• Structure work in JIRA

• Document architecture, data flows, and decisions in Confluence

• Share knowledge within the team

Требования:

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience and further training

• Several years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, DWH/BI Developer, or in a comparable role

• Lateral or functional leadership experience, or project management experience with an own project team

• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java

• Confident use of relational and ideally distributed database systems

• Experience building and operating ETL/ELT processes

• Experience with data modeling, such as Star Schema or Data Vault

• Experience working with large data volumes

• Practical experience with modern data platforms and technologies, such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable on-premise solutions

• Very good German language skills, spoken and written, at C1 level

• Nice to have: experience with CI/CD, version control with Git, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
